
Here's the good part! When you want to drop the rear wheel, as I did, all you need is a scissors jack to slide under the frame. Once the rear wheel is off the lift, you can pull a pin and remove the rear part of the lift.
Then all you need to do is sit down on a stool or in a chair, put your knee under the tire, and pull the axle bolt. You can then slide the tire right down, and place it on the floor. Easy! (Just don't forget to remove the brake caliper first, like I almost did. Thanks, Steve!)
What's that? You say you've got a shorter bike, like a Hugger? Well, the front wheel clamp slides on those horizontal tubes at the front of the lift. Just slide the clamp to the rear, and you can handle a shorter bike.
This made the next part of the job, pulling the fender, tail light assembly, turn signal assemblies, wiring harness, and backrest supports, really simple. "A child could do it." (laughing)
